1. Honey

Danger point: elements contain Clostridium botulinum spores

Although drinking honey water has its advantages, the manufacturing process of honey does not go through high temperature sterilization, so as not to damage components. Therefore, honey may contain botulism spores, which could lead to botulism poisoning of a child under the age of one. Infants under the age of one are recommended not to eat honey.

2. Peanut butter

Danger point: ingredients are easy to cause allergic reactions; vulnerable to Aflatoxin contamination.

Peanuts themselves contain peanut oil acid, which is an essential fatty acid that the human body needs. Human cells would take advantage of this acid to synthesize prostaglandins. Prostaglandin is the well-known natural inflammatory substance in the body, which is apt to cause allergies and inflammation. If the genetic family have food allergies, the child is best to avoid being fed peanut products before one-year-old.

In addition, the peanut butter is vulnerable to Aflatoxin contamination due to improper preservation. According to food hygiene standards, ...
... the Aflatoxin in peanut and its products shall not exceed 15ppb. If someone accidently ingests large quantity of Aflatoxin contaminated food, it may lead to acute liver poisoning and even death.

3. Milk

Milk is rich in nutrients, but it does not apply for the baby before the age of one, mainly because the casein molecular structure in milk protein is large and difficult to break down, thus cannot be absorbed by a baby under the age of one; and if some of the baby's intestines do not have enough lactase to break down, it can cause intestinal irritation and affect bowel function; with some minerals may increase the burden on the babies’ kidneys, children may have chronic dehydration, dry stools and other symptoms.

Especially for the baby before the age of one, breast milk is best. Or you should choose formula, because formula milk will adjust the structure of protein and fat, as well as the ratio of calcium and phosphorus. It also appropriately add some vitamins, trace elements, nucleotides, unsaturated fatty acids and other ingredients, which are necessary for growth and development of infants and young children, aiming to provide necessary nutrients for the development with complete nutrition.
