If you are a fan of baseball caps the chances are you already know what snapback caps are. If you are not a fan of baseball caps you will kick yourself when you realise that a snapback cap is just a baseball cap which can be adjusted at the back. More specifically it is a cap that can be adjusted using a plastic strap at the back of the cap. Once you have the size you want you simply snap the plastic strap into place, hence the name snapback.

Those that aren't do not last long the brims droop, they fade, come unstitched and worse the poppers on the plastic straps do not stay in place. However, with a bit of care you can find good quality snapback caps.

If you can afford to buy branded caps do so they tend to be the best of the lot. Look for caps with double stitching. Cotton twill is the best fabric, it looks better for longer, keeps its shape and absorbs dye well. This means that they do not fade in the sun as quickly as other kinds of snapback caps. Most caps have a logo on the front, as a general rule embroidered logos look good for longer than printed logos.
