Tourette Syndrome - Lta Personal Development
Tourette or Tourette syndrome is a neurological disease that affects the circuitry of the brain. People who suffer from Tourette have involuntary but repeated vocalizations and move different parts of their body that usually are limbs, trunk, face or arms. These involuntary movements are called as tics. The first man to describe this condition in 1885 was a French doctor, Giles de la Tourette after whom the disease has been named. Tourette syndrome affects all ethnic groups and it affects male child three to four times more than females. The onset of this disease is in childhood and when the child is between the ages of 7 to 10. The typical symptoms of this disease that occur more commonly include changing facial expressions, eye blinking and face twitching with the main symptoms in the neck and head area of the child. There are also vocal symptoms or tics which make the sufferer vocalize noises or words involuntarily.
There has been no solid reason as to why the syndrome affects some people; it is believed that it is due to abnormalities or problems in the development of central nervous system. Current research shows ...
... that Tourette syndrome may be inherited and that it runs in families. Current research shows unusual features in the neurotransmitters, frontal lobes, cortex and basal ganglia that are different regions of the brain.
The symptoms of this disease including the physical and vocal symptoms, both reduce in severity as the person crosses puberty, and in 20-30% cases it disappears once the person is in his 20’s and 30’s. In around 10% cases, the severity of the symptoms actually increases as the person moves into adulthood. There are various triggers for the onset of tics which can be due to nervousness, tension, certain physical activity or agitation. A calm and composed single minded activity or restful sleep helps to reduce the frequency and strength of tics.
Till now there has been no cure for Tourette syndrome with most therapies aiming to help individuals manage their condition. Medication is prescribed only for severe cases whereas in most cases supportive environment, counselling and reassurance helps the person to control the tics. Many other techniques such as relaxation, yoga, meditation that help to reduce the stress that triggers the tics can help the patient to be calm and balanced.
Linda David has developed LTA (Liberty, truth, ability) therapy which cures Tourette syndrome. The LTA therapy is of the view that Tourette syndrome is not neurological and the disease is not in the body or the brain like conventional medicine. LTA therapy which is an energetic distance therapy believes that all physical and psychological problems have their origin in the subconscious mind. The millions of programming’s or patterns that are present in the subconscious mind are the root cause of all problems in life. All the symptoms of Tourette syndrome are blockages or patterns in the subconscious mind and Linda David with her psychic abilities can perceive and remove these problems from afar. Once the patterns that cause Tourette syndrome have been removed from the subconscious mind, the patient will completely cured of all the compulsive Tourette tics.
