Brief Introduction To Fatigue Symptom
Fatigue is a normal symptom after we have done some strenuous activity. Most of us have experienced fatigue at some point in our lives. Fatigue can also hinder normal life and in some cases people need to take medication to overcome this problem. Fatigue can be caused by a variety of reasons both physical and mental. Physiological and psychological reasons can cause fatigue in people. Normal fatigue can get cured by taking adequate rest and doing home remedies. There are people who suffer from constant fatigue in spite of taking sufficient rest who need to consult a doctor to find out the underlying reasons for the fatigue.
Some of the common reasons of fatigue are:
1) Stress: Stress has become a part of everyday life now and all of us have to deal with it on a daily basis. By reducing stress one can reduce the fatigue caused by it. Sometimes stress can also motivate people to do something about it. Excessive stress can bring on a variety of health problems which causes fatigue. Stress can be cured by doing meditation, yoga and exercise that will help to relax, both the mind and body.

... people work for too many number of hours they have no time for rest which leads to fatigue. People who work for 12-14 hours each day do not get time to unwind are always stressed. People should make time to put aside work and give time to their personal life, meet up with friends and pursue hobbies which will help them to relax mentally and physically.
3) Lack of sleep: With endless working hours and television as an added distraction, many people suffer fatigue from lack of proper sleep. Our body and mind need sleep to work properly. While we are asleep our body repairs itself and rejuvenates our immune, skeletal, muscular and nervous systems. It is extremely important to sleep for 6-8 hours each night so as to perform at an optimum level the next day.
4) Lack of exercise: Lack of exercise is another reason that causes fatigue. When there is no exercise the muscles in our body turn to fat which can lead to obesity. Also, with this body needs to burn few calories so metabolism also goes down which again leads to fatigue. Exercise helps to maintain muscle strength and thus a higher metabolism which keeps mind fresh and active.
5) Lack of good diet: A good diet will provide you with a good supply of vitamins, minerals and necessary nutrients that will keep the body active and fit. With today’s fast food age, the diet is loaded with sugar, salt and fats which have no intrinsic value and do nothing to provide the body with the required nutrients essential for a healthy body. This is another cause of fatigue in people. A well balanced meal which has proteins, carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables and essential fats is important to avoid fatigue and maintain a healthy body.
