"Not everyone is willing to succumb to flying on a commercial airliner when they need to make a brief trip, so they will choose to find a way to enjoy their trip on a luxurious private jet. It's not easy to just go out and hop on a private jet, but by following one of the three methods available these days, anyone could take part.

If you have the capital required to afford it, you could easily go out and buy a jet of your very own, but outright ownership is typically something that only big companies seek. With this sort of plan the company is solely responsible for the upkeep of the plane and must have a place to store the plane, a pilot and a mechanic available to make sure that it is maintained at code. Generally, when a company is large enough to own their own corporate jet, they don't really stress the extra costs.

Your next likely option would be to hire yourself an aircraft through a charter service, and they don't have any ongoing expenses for you to cover. These companies are usually equipped with several planes and service a number of clients, from businesses to individuals. Booking a flight ...
... with one of these services is fairly simple, and instead of having to share your flight with hundreds of other passengers, the entire plane is yours. Most often these companies price their rentals based on air time, often businesses that travel frequently will purchase a card in advance that is good for a specific number of hours.

The third option, known as fractional ownership, works basically the same way that a hotel time share does, because each client pays for a certain amount of time in which they will get to use the plane for their own travels. They each get a specific amount of hours per year, usually one hundred or so, in exchange for their expense, and the share that they buy can be sold or transferred to someone else, just like a timeshare. Your aircraft would be maintained and stored by the organization that put the plan together, but you will be charged a monthly fee to cover your part.

If you would ever like to enjoy flying in a private jet for your coming big business trip, one of these methods will be your surest bet. Traveling on a non-commercial aircraft has multiple advantages, many of which will save time and revenue for the business that is utilizing this method."
