InstaRad is a customizable and scalable radiology imaging solution designed for single hospitals and diagnostic centers. Within seconds, radiologists and referring physicians access high quality, diagnostically useful, compressed and decompressed radiographic images such as X-rays, CTs, MRIs, ultrasounds and other modalities from any place, at any time, and over internet connections of any bandwidth. How does InstaRad work?
InstaRad is a point to multi-point image distribution software solution. The standalone server hosting the InstaRad medical imaging solution is deployed at the medical or diagnostic center and is connected to the Internet. Modalities within the center are connected to the server via a local area network (LAN).
Once DICOM images from modalities are fed into the server, they can be accessed by doctors through a viewer on a web browser. The schematic diagram below illustrates the working of InstaRad
