There are many different kinds of disorders that can affect an individual to an extent of being paralyzed. Some disorders are physical and some are mental. Only a specialized doctor related to that particular disorder can recognize the cause of the problem, and advise the appropriate medication or treatment to the individual to recover faster.

Doctors need to be specialized to be able to detect the problem that is developing in an individual and rectify it by offering the right medication and treatment. Along with doctors even the hospital or institutions that provide treatments for various kinds of disabilities, need to be well equipped with incomparable medical devises and capable doctors or specialists, to cure the disability in an individual. Some patients would require counseling to recover faster, as along with physically being affected, they would be affected mentally too. There are disorders which affect the brain of an individual. Mainly, in children it is very common, during their presence in the womb itself or during birth or after birth. It can affect the brain of a child anytime during the entire process, from being conceived to after birth. Brain of a child is supposedly very tender while their birth, until a certain age, so parents and doctors need to take good care of it so as to, not be affected easily. Cerebral palsy is one such disorder that occurs in a child during pregnancy or after birth. This particular disorder encompasses a group of non-progressive, non-contagious motor conditions that cause physical disability in human development especially in children, chiefly in the various areas of the body leading to poor movement of the body parts, which can be recognized by the parents right after birth or up to three years of age. Parents need to keep a check on the development of their child in their growing years to be able recognize and rectify, if any problem occurs, so as to lead a normal life in the future.


This particular disorder is caused when the motor control centers of the developing brain is damaged and this can happen during pregnancy, during birth of the child or after the birth of the child up to three years of age, and as everyone knows once the brain is damaged it leads to various kinds of disabilities. This disorder may lead to various other health related issues, like, poor movement in certain body parts and incorrect posture limit activities, which give rise to sight-based perceptual problems and communication ability. Sometimes cerebral palsy may even lead to epilepsy, which can be rectified, if treated in the initial
stages.
