A new world of Mixed Martial Arts
Zarko Academy continues to be the original martial arts school of Mill Basin, Bergen beach, Georgetown, Old Mill Basin, Fillmore, and Marine Park areas. Though other martial arts schools have opened their doors to the public we have continued to be the one true constant martial arts school within these communities in Brooklyn. We welcome any and all students ranging in all ages as well as special children with difficulties.

• Little Dragons Program
The Little Dragons Program is a direct continuation for the kids who have graduated from the Tiny Dragons Program and who have grown up to a more mature age of 5 - 8 years old. At that age their aptitude to learn more complicated techniques is greater than an average kid of the same age due to the fact that they have already spent 2 - 3 years prior to that in the Tiny Dragons Program.

Two year olds can achieve amazing things in the martial arts world. That is why we take them at such a young age.This is just the initial start of martial arts training.
General training on-
• Wing chun- Wing Chun is a truly incredible and stunning kung fu style. It is one of the most practical martial art systems you can study. Wing Chun is a perfect art for the uncertainties of actual self-defense and combat. The system relies on biomechanics, not brute force. Wing Chun is a scientific yet theoretically based martial arts form. The specialty of a Wing Chun practitioner is close-range combat. Practitioners utilize well-coordinated angular deflections with simultaneous attacks. A Wing Chun practitioner is responsive yet powerful, delivering quick, close-range punches and kicks rather than locks and grabs. Wing Chun is based on the concepts and principles of simplicity, economy of movement, and economy of energy. This art is a true internal and external system designed so you can learn the system in 3-5 years. It is a science in motion that is simple yet explosive. The links to the left briefly discuss several key aspects of Wing Chun training.
• Hapkido – Hapkido is a dynamic and also diverse Korean martial art. It is a form of self-defense that employs joint locks, techniques of other martial arts, as well as kicks, punches, and other striking attacks. There is also the use of traditional weapons, including a sword, rope, nunchaku, cane, short stick, and staff which vary in emphasis depending on the particular tradition examined.
Zarko Academy is welcomed with open arms and given the opportunity to obtain the best teaching - mentally, physically and spiritually. They will be exposed to a most unique way of training in the martial arts world.
