You can purchase either a standalone traffic advisor or go for a model which is integrated with a light bar. The traffic advisors are a very important part of emergency vehicle lighting and often help law enforcement officials take control of the motoring crowds. The directional arrows prove critical to redirect traffic from one lane to another or into a different direction, when you want to disperse the crowds, clear out an alley or make way for rescue vehicles to head to a crisis site.

The traffic advisor lights are used by patrol cars on highways as well to caution the car and bike drivers about any dangers that lurk ahead. Often wreckage, spillage or a crash in the middle of the highway could lead to more collisions especially when it is dark and difficult to spot such dangers from far away. Emergency vehicles positioned at such sites can do the drivers a great favor by flashing the directional lights, which are big, flashy arrows in red or amber, cautioning them to change lanes or at least slow down. The flashy, bright lights can help in giving more time to the public to react by alerting them from ...
... a long distance away. Some bright LEDs can produce light beams penetrative and intense enough to be spotted from more than a hundred meters away.

Advanced technologies are being used for the design and operation of traffic advisor lights. A good example includes the control consoles for 6 and 8 light traffic advisors which can help in activating the lights from a remote position if required. Similarly, they can also help in displaying the LED status and also replicating the operation in order to confirm the patterns that are being displayed on the directional light bars. The illuminated control panels are easy to operate and come with a series of rocker and rotary switches for various functions that include high-low intensity control, turning the lights on or off, switching the flashing patterns or altering the sequence or flash patterns for greater effect. LED modules are long lasting and can be used in adverse weather conditions thanks to their rugged housing which is water and vibration resistant. They also have shock plates that make them shatter proof.

A fully functional, advanced traffic advisor can give you multiple flash patterns along with left, right and split operation modes depending on the warning light you want to flash. A series of super bright LEDs are used to create the arrow head that cannot be missed even from a large distance. Flashing arrow- heads can be more attention grabbing. Advanced equipment also sometimes has dip switch programming for enabling some lamps instead of all of them. The LEDs can be powered by a simple 12V DC power supply. The remote control console which is highly user friendly allows you to easily operate the flashing sequences and patterns and other operations like turning the sequence on and off. The kit also includes interconnecting cables and high intensity strobes.
