This special award is presented by The Recording Academy to individuals or groups for ongoing contributions and influence in the recording field. The GRAMMY Legend Award was inaugurated in 1990.

4. Technical GRAMMY Award
This unique and special award is presented by vote of The Recording Academy's National Trustees to individuals and/or companies who have made contributions of outstanding technical significance to the recording field.

5. GRAMMY Hall Of Fame
This special merit award was established by The Recording Academy's National Trustees in 1973 to honor recordings of lasting qualitative or historical significance that are at least 25 years old. Inductees are selected annually by a special member committee of eminent and knowledgeable professionals from all branches of the recording arts.

6. Trustees Award
The Trustees Award is presented by vote of The Recording Academy's National Trustees to individuals who, during their careers in music, have made significant contributions, other than performance, to the field of recording.

7. Latin GRAMMY Hall Of Fame
This special Award was established in 2001 to honor early recordings of lasting qualitative or historical significance that were released more than 25 years ago. Winners are selected annually by a special member committee of eminent and knowledgeable professionals from all branches of the recording arts.
