There was an eagle flying high in the sky. From a distance, it saw a pigeon, so it decided to seize the pigeon. The eagle dived sharply, but when it was close to the ground, it found the pigeon had been hiding in the hands of a person sitting and resting under a tree.

“Please give my quarry back to me,” the eagle pleaded the man. “You go to find other quarries. And since the pigeon come to me for protection, I must help it. I cannot just stand by,” the man answered firmly. “But I have no time to go looking for other quarries. You see, it is getting dark now. And my children have been hungry for a long time, waiting for me to take quarry back to for them to eat. Please!” “I absolutely cannot give the pigeon to you,” the man still remained unmoved. “I know that you do not want to eat the pigeon. So why do you want to do this thing that injures others while not benefit yourself?” the eagle argued with the man.
Finally, the man suggested that: “Well, we both temporarily swap roles. Perhaps in that way, we can better understand each other.” Then, the man changed into an eagle. He immediately ...
... felt a fitful sense of fatigue and hunger hitting him. He knew that on the tall mountain, in his nest, his children were anxiously waiting for him to go back. Then he found a fat pigeon. If he could not grasp the pigeon, he and his children must suffer from hungry today. Perhaps tomorrow, he would also get nothing. But where was the man come out from? Why did he protect this weak pigeon?

When they restored the prototype, a sudden burst of wind blew the man down, and the pigeon slipped out from the man’s hands, flying away. This time, the eagle didn’t move at all. So the man asked the eagle: “Why don’t you run after it? You could have caught the pigeon. And now it belongs to you.” “Because I have been a man,” the eagle answered.
