The use of architectural glass is a superbly cost effective way to create a modern building interior cohesive to a productive environment, so here is a run-down of some environments where you could expect to see the use of glass walls.

• Home – Glass walls in households are more popular than you might think. Here are a few reasons why some people look to have them fitted. They could be implemented for domestic or professional reasons, with the most popular use being for home offices. Professionals such as architects , doctors and dentists who work from home a lot would be the ideal professionals, possibly fitted into an extension to their home.

• Warehouse – In some cases warehouses require clear segregation of products. This could be based on products type, manufacturer, brand or even the destination of products, which are all ways for warehouse workers to quickly identify, organise and prioritise products which have been ordered.

Demountable glass partitions could then be of great benefit to some warehouse workers as firstly, the floor plan can change based on the amount of orders, stock and sales they are making. i.e. if one product is selling in large numbers, then extra room can be made available from a place where orders are slowing up.

Therefore there is a need for factories to provide rest areas with certain degree of comfort. Glass partitions can create this a relaxed atmosphere and they can also be glazed to provide privacy if needed.

• Department Store – The vast majority of modern day offices are open plan, as shoppers will want to shop in comfort and not feel confined, so glass partitions are a great way to make a floor plan feel open and your customers will not feel constricted when shopping. The natural light will also generate a sense of relaxation among shoppers.
