London is one of the most visited cities in the world. It is steeped in a great deal of history and culture and certainly has a great deal on offer for any intrepid traveller to see and do. If you are planning a trip to the English capital then consider these top places to visit in London.

Leicester Square is certainly one of the top destinations in the city. Leicester Square is where all of the film premiers are held in the capital and there are several different cinemas on offer in the area. It is an extremely vibrant and busy place with all sorts of different restaurants, cafes, bars, casinos, and other entertainment facilities for you to enjoy.

If you want to go shopping then you certainly cannot miss out on Oxford Street and Regent Street. This is the longest shopping district in the whole of Europe and stretches for roughly 1 1/2 miles through London.
