A 'Fan Trip' is where you base a holiday or day out around your chosen love such as the love for a book or a movie. A good example is the phenomenon that is Harry Potter. It seems everyone knows of someone who is a fan of Harry Potter and has read every book and collected each film. Fans can take fan trips to locations that were used in the making of the movie.
