Part of summer fun is taking day trips to visit fairs, flea markets, boot fairs and open-air markets. Whether relaxing on holiday at a cottage or at home, it feels good to get away for a few hours to enjoy the country side. Even taking a day or two on the weekend to enjoy day-trips can provide a nice escape from the hum-drum of routine life.

It is also a good idea to get there in early-summer as there will be more to 'choose from because the product hasn't been picked over by the masses.

Great art pieces can often be found at summer garden sales. More often than not, unusual or special pieces can be purchased at bargain prices.
