Computers these days have become a commodity. Almost every household has one. It is almost like having a refrigerator or another appliance. However, when talking about computers for trading, we are talking about something totally different than your traditional home computer. These computers are specialized machines built for traders like you. They are built with the latest technology and the best components to help you trade better.

A lot of companies have tried to commoditize the Computer For Day Trading by just calling your typical home computer a trading computer. Be aware of the companies that claim to sell computers for trading when they have no clue about what a serious trader needs. So how do you know you are getting a good computer?

Eddie Z at EZ Trading Computers put together a guide that will show you step by step what to look for when you are researching computer for day trading. First of all, you want to buy top quality components and have them customized according to your needs. For example: You want to choose the best processor for analytics ...
... and charts. You don’t want to pick a weak processor because you want power and speed. The guide will make recommendations and have reviews on some of the most popular processors out there.

Then, you want to look at motherboards. On motherboards you are going to learn that brand is everything. If you want reliability and high performance you want to get the ASUS motherboards. They are the best and when reading the guide you will learn why. Another important factor is RAM, so how much RAM do you need? The minimum you need is 3GB of RAM. That is the bare minimum! This is the minimum to run Windows 7 64bit and other applications. I personally have 6GB, but feel free to go higher, making sure you can run all the applications you need. One important point here is to make sure you have a 64bit Operating system; otherwise the amount of RAM will not make a difference. I was amazed to learn that a lot of traders are still running 32bit Operating Systems.

The guide then will tell you how to pick the best monitors. Traders have multi-monitor setups, so it is important to get the best quality with the latest technology. I am sure you have heard about the LED back displays vs. LCD back displays. You will learn why LED is more suitable for traders than LCD.

After reading the guide, you will be more educated on what are the best computers for trading. This will help you make an educated purchase. You will not only get a great computer for trading but will also get a great education on the latest trading technology.
