Recognizing Signs And Symptoms Of Stress
Such signs of excessive stress need to be understood, your symptoms and no one else’s. These symptoms may be very unique to you, but only you can learn to recognize them with a bit of know-how.
Effects of stress
The physical symptoms of stress influences you with sleep problems, stress of the muscles, headaches, stomach problems and tiredness. In relation to behaviour and emotions, you could experience an enthusiasm loss, an energy loss, changing moods, eating issues, a sense of nervousness and even anxiety. You may well begin to feel depressed and irritable. However, you are different and the amount of stress you can withstand may be far more or far less than someone else, reaching a breaking point for your body and mind either sooner or later than someone else.
Your risk of behaving badly, abusing drugs, taking alcohol, smoking, forgetting proper exercise or playing havoc with your nutritional needs will be higher than others without such stress factors, or responses to them. Once you start letting things go, the vicious cycle tumbles out of control, making your symptoms only get ...
... worse over time.
How you experience your stress symptoms is so individualized that too people’s experiences are incomparable. You might find yourself finding things fairly easy, whereas your friend may be going completely out of her mind with the stress she is experiencing.
Stress Effects
Stress is varied in type and effects. No standards exist to grade or evaluate stress in a way that can be applied to everyone successfully because stress is very fluid and constantly changing. You can experience stress even in a non-stressed environment. How much stress we experience and how hard it is to deal with depends on many factors – events we have experienced, what trauma we have suffered, the support others give us, what we expect of ourselves, how others depend on us, and what our responsibilities are and our overall health.
Generally speaking stress can be vaguely graded. Those who have support and are able to remain calm have good support compared to those without support who are plagued with symptoms. A poor diet, sleep issues, physical illness and other problems make coping with any pressure or stress very difficult and usually have higher numbers of reports of individuals coping with stress.
Despite this, age plays a part in when a person may get stressed out because life’s little stages can have problems too, especially for teenagers, young adults and the elderly. As such too much of any type of stress can cause harm, especially mentally and physically. Whichever category you fall into, your personal signs of excessive stress might be something that even family can help you deal with, but on the other hand, they might well need a lot more help and it might get to the point where even counselling is a needed thing. Do not let stress get you down or life to impose so much that your stress levels go through the roof.
