How To Deal With Today's Economic Recession
"There are several ideas surrounding ideas to avoid what's going on in the economy. Given that lots of people have been affected by the dropping economy, this topic finds its way to daily headlines. Everything points to the same way of thinking, although it may be indicated in several ways, how much money we spend has a lot do with how we will get through it.
Should we discontinue spending as much to be safe in this hard time? This has been seen as the most appealing method used. Given that a recession is actually the overall slowdown in economic spending, doesn't not spending money perpetuate a recession? Can we try and look at different kinds of things that can be done when there is a crisis such as this, so that we don't put ourselves in a more dire situation?
Raising the amount of money you make through different methods is another alternative solution to stop spending money altogether on your standard of living. Finding other means to get money is a better solution than to continue hurting the economy by not spending. But is this achievable? Are people capable of finding alternatives where money ...
... is open to them, even in the midst of a recession?
One person I know did not think of "cutting back" as the answer. She decided she would work instead to improve her profit. One of the ways she was able to do this was by getting into a course put on through Executive Success Programs. Both Nancy Salzman, who is an expert in human potential and Keith Raniere, who is a scientist, have come together to create this organization. It seems this organization provides one with the tools and helps one to develop the skills necessary to be able to earn more, and be more strategic on their next steps. My friend has gone on to be almost unaffected by the recession. In fact, her standard of living has overall gotten better, not declined, in the last few years!
It makes sense that cutting back is not a truly long-term solution. You want to spend money in a recession because if you don't, you run the risk of letting the economy sit in a equilibrium that can only get worse. Several people see this as a way to also establish a future, which isn't the case when you stop spending. You can't be positive that once the recession is over, it won't come back sometime in the future , so is it still a good idea for you and your future benefit to just stand by and watch everything around you fall? As far as going somewhere in life, this doesn't make sense. This situation is more of a Catch 22, unless, of course you take actions into your own hands. Think about it, the recession wouldn't have had such a huge aftermath on people's lives if everyone tried to find the mean to make more money, one way or another."
