Why Do Not You Take The Game Down To Prevent More Accounts Being Hacked

I don’t understand why the game isn’t being brought down to prevent the loss of my accounts when this is well documented here in tickets and even by having Sell MapleStory Mesos staff posting about it. Two more people I know were hacked tonight and each day I hear of people hacked. I can track some of the people responsible for his just by recognizing the names on their stores and it's an ongoing issue.

Anyone being hacked after the very first days of this could have easily been prevented had nexon just taken the servers down until they could find the source and solution to this.

Many of the people being hacked are very long term players and some have never used mts, there's a serious security issue here. Please take the preventive steps to prevent more of us from losing the investment we have made in this game and there was a similar thread to this, and I don’t understand why it was deleted.

Regardless I am fairly sure I haven’t violated any TOS rules in this thread and it certainly seems like a reasonable question.

... the same request. This wouldn't even be an issue if Nexon took responsible action and worked with their customers to restore the accounts. However, we all know Nexon's response to hacked accounts is: "sorry you're screwed".

What Nexon could do, however, would be to make Maple story mesos equipment untradeable and undroppable, and characters undeletable until such time as Nexon finds and plugs the security holes. This would be similar to what Nexon has done before in response to some exploits, and would limit the damage that account hackers could do.

That's the reason many people are asking for immediate action. Not that silly automatic response or their apologies for players being inconvenienced. This is not an inconvenience. This is thief. Unlawful thieft. Criminal activity. Especially if the player has spent money on the MapleStory Mesos account.
