India is a land where multiple cultures exist together at the same place. The colourful and rich culture of India is admired by the whole world. Indians follow their own customs and beliefs, which are being followed since the time of their ancestors. Weddings in India are celebrated with full pomp and show. The Indians are very peculiar about their traditions and celebrate the auspicious occasions like marriage with complete emotional dedication. The symbol signifies wealth, prosperity and good luck. The right-hand Swastik is one of the 108 symbols of the god Vishnu. Swastika is an important element in the festive decorations and ceremonies such as weddings.

Elephants
Elephants symbolize good luck in Hindus. Elephants are the mainly used in decoration and are kept on the entrance to welcome the wedding procession. In royal families of India, the kings ride elephants and include a number of elephants in the royal weddings. An elephant with a raised trunk is a very auspicious symbol, which is depicted in the decorations, rangolis, and other worshipping elements. A pair of elephants is believed to bring various good wishes and luck during the Hindu matrimony.

Flowers
Flowers are eternal that symbolize recreation and regeneration. No wedding is complete without the presence of flowers. The vibrant red, yellow, pink and white flowers make the atmosphere very charming and aromatic. The flowers are also one of the auspicious things in a Hindi matrimonial as they are supposed to bring good luck and happiness. Flowers bring purity and auspiciousness with them, and thus are considered as the best offering one can give to his/her ancestors, spirits and gods. Roses, marigolds, Jasmine, orchids, and other exotic flowers are very popular these days, which are generously used in weddings in Hindi matrimony.
