Four Enticing Adventure Travel Destination
Adventure Travel is home to the fascinating country of India. The country in North is surrounded by some of the greatest peaks, while the southern coastlines encourage a number of adventurous water sports. However it is the mysterious Himalayas that attract every single tourist. Apart from few popular destinations in the Northern India, there are four destinations that demand special attention while one talks of adventure holidays in India.
The Chopta Chandrashila Trek
The Chopta Chandrashila Trek is one of the popular trekking tours. The Chopta Chandrashila Winter Summit Trek is one of the most well known options for an adventure tour in the Garhwal region. The view from the Chandrashila summit of the Nandadevi, Chaukhamba peaks, and Kedar peaks is breathtaking. Chopta is 2900 meters high and is situated on the Gopeshwar – Ukhimath road.
Har ki Dun Trek
The next destination ...
... for India adventure tour is the Har ki Dun Trek, which is situated on the western side of the Ganges in the Garhwal region. The Fateh Parvat lies at the base of the summit which is elevated at a height of 3556 meters. Har ki Dun – the Hanging Valley of Gods is an ultimate treat for trekkers and is the most preferred of all trekking tours.
Zanskar
The Zanskar range is the most isolated of all the Himalayan ranges, and occupies a distinct position in India Adventure tour. The valley is elevated at a height of about 3500 meters, and has scanty population of people living in the region. The Zanskar valley trek starts amidst lush green forest and then the landscapes transform drastically, as one moves further. Offering some of the most spectacular sights and the view of some of the monasteries is really mind blowing. The Zanskar valley however remains inaccessible for more than eight months in a year due to heavy snowfall.
Markha Valley trek
Yet another adventure tour destination in India is the Markha Valley trek, which offers one of the most splendid treks in one of the world’s highest plateaus. The trek offers an adventurous experience amidst the willow trees, pastel canyons and wild roses. The prayer flags of different colors in the wild breeze add a hint of color to the otherwise dull environment. The Markha River passes through Little Tibet, and the trek along this will give an opportunity to meet the families of nomads, and visit the monasteries. All this leaves an indelible impression on the minds of the trekkers.
The treks along these four regions are perhaps most hostile yet the breathtaking experience that they render to the travelers is inexpressible in words.
