Only Particular Kind Of Treatments For Brain Injury Can Prove Advantageous
The most important part of a human body is the brain. If the brain stops receiving signals and reacting accordingly to it, it means the body has turned vegetable. Brain should be able to command over the body to perform various functions and be able to take proper decisions, avoiding imbalance in the body.

The patient is made to lye straight on the bed, with the head of the bed slightly elevated and the neck kept straight, which would allow the blood and cerebrospinal fluid to drain out from the brain easily. The position of the bed or the body should not be changed without nurse’s assent.
It is necessary to limit the supply of fluids that the patient receives, as it leads to brain absorbing the fluids and swell up, which is dangerous. Any kind of fluid should be supplied without the nurse’s assent.
Medications like Diuretics are given to the patients, which decreases certain amount of water in the patient’s body preventing the brain from swelling. The other medicine that is given is known as Anticonvulsants, which are used to prevent seizures.
