What Are Women's Rights Like In The 21st Century
"One piece of our past many people may have forgotten about is women's rights. If so, why are women around the world still seen as inferior to men? Are you one of the people who see people as being unequal in sex?
Where society is concerned, several people know that women are one of the reasons why things run so smoothly in the world. If you want to know where all the important people who helped mold our world come from, you would only have to look at a women. If you wonder how children are made into productive members of society, you would also only have to look at women. Our whole existence is surrounded by people women have raised. As such, they play perhaps the most important role in society.
But let us be truthful here. No matter what it may seem that women do, they might never be treated with the same appreciation that men are. Men's wages tend to be more than a women's. Sometimes, a women may do the same things that a man does in a job but will not get paid anything near what the man does. In fact, often times a woman will not be allowed to advance at the rate a man can advance in the workplace ...
... - even if her skills are superior! In some parts of the world - and sometimes even in our own country - women are outright oppressed.
Does it seem acceptable that we avoid the problems having to do with women's rights, when we know we're not right at all? It makes sense to me that the means to which a woman is supported and empowered is the degree to which our children and future adults can do great things.
Because there needs to be some changes in the way we act and think, we need to have certain organizations to help. Micro loans are becoming a regular thing now, as women in poverty-stricken countries are empowered to become entrepreneurs and pull their families and villages out of poverty. Because it doesn't take very much money to do this, many women are becoming self-sufficient. In this way, the economy is positively affected by this small amount of money set aside for women.
The World Ethical Foundations Consortium is one such place that makes information about women's rights available to women. One individual who is familiar with the foundation is its' trustee, Sara Bronfman who knows that the foundation not only assists women but also others who are less fortunate but who can make a positive impact on the world. There are plenty of places just for the uplifting of a women's rights and eradication of oppression. Because we comprehend the values that a women brings to the 21st century, we are allowing them to reach a whole new level of success."
