Confined Space Rescue Specialists And Experts
Code Red Safety performs rope rescue techniques when doing confined space rescues and high angle rescues. Many customers ask us why we prefer rope rescue to mechanical rescue. The following is a brief explanation of why we feel rope rescue techniques are better than mechanical in almost any scenario:
Rope rescue allows an almost unlimited number of techniques and combinations of techniques to perform high angle and confined space rescues from any area. The primary benefits to rope rescue:
Flexability of the rescue system to fit any situation
Strength – rope systems are actually stronger tensile strength wise than conventional mechanical systems
Each of use – once set up a rope rescue system is easier and quicker to use in extracting injured personnel from confined spaces and high angles
Multiple rescues – mechanical rescues typically can only rescue one person at a time, but if you look at our rescue blog you’ll see that the average number of people usually rescued from a confined space or high angle is two or more. In a dangerous situation who wants to be last?
