StorageTek tape library offers 80 cartridge slots, thus extending the native capacity to 16 TB. Users can install 1-8 SDLT drives and LTO drives. With LTO-1 tape the native capacity reaches maximum of 8.0 TB. Likewise with LTO-2 and SDLT tape cartridges, the L80 tape library offers up to 16 TB and 12.8 TB respectively.
