In the past, a little prince set off to find happiness. The Great Wizard told him: “Happiness is a blue bird, which has the world's most beautiful crisp voice. After you find it, you should immediately lock it in a cage made of gold, thus you can get the happiness you want.”

The prince took a gold cage with him and set off. He had grabbed a lot of blue birds, but they always died for no reason after being put into the gold cage. He knew that was not the happiness he was looking for.

Later, the gold cage was a bit old and the little prince was no longer young. Remembering his parents in the distant place, the little prince returned to his kingdom, only to find everything has changed. Soon after his leaving, the King and Queen passed away because of excessive grief and yearning.

The Little Prince lonely walked in the deserted street. Suddenly someone pulled his clothes. It was an old man with white hair. “Great Wizard!” Little Prince recognized him. “Prince, I'm sorry. I should not encourage you to look for Blue Bird.” Fishing out an item from his pocket, the old man choked, “This is the thing ...
... that the King and the Queen asked me to give you before dying. Please cherish it.”

The little prince saw that it was an oriole that carved for him when he was young. The Little Prince tightly clung to the wood bird across his chest, feeling very regretful. Suddenly, the wooden bird moved and cried. The little prince was shocked and with no attention the oriole flew away. That was the Blue Bird of happiness, but he did not have time to put it in the gold cage.

What happiness actually is? Where is blue bird of happiness? Happiness is very simple. But in real life, most people fail to appreciate the happy life they enjoy. Just like the little prince, they often give up the happiness around them and look for an illusion that does not exist. In fact, happiness is like a blue bird, which will gently rest on the shoulder of each person. But some people do not see it, or even scare it away. Happiness is actually not far away, just around you or just in your hand, as long as you have a heart that is gentle, easy to be moved and good at discovering.
