I have been trying to avert this stage for weeks now, but as a result of decorating my bedroom, the dusty and paint splattered carpet, couldn't stay any longer.

So finally it was time to visit the flooring showroom to discover the range of flooring available to me. I was really hoping to find the perfect flooring for my room, something that looked classic and stylish, without the gigantic price tag.

At the showroom, I was shown an array of different samples from laminate flooring all the way to tiles and carpets, The sales representative was extremely informative and cheerful which was surprising considering it was a Monday. He was attentive as I told him my concerns about wooden flooring. My main worry was that it wouldn't look genuine, many wooden floors these days have a show home feel and don't feel very homely.

After hours of searching I finally found a flooring I liked a dark brown pine hardwood flooring. To me it looked like it could've been from an old house, discovered underneath an old moth-eaten carpet. The pine was a dark dark brown colour and looked aged. I thought it was ...
... ideal for my bedroom. The sales rep told me this was one of their more popular styles with many people using it in bedrooms and living rooms.

I also asked if it would be an issue because I have a dog and apparently wooden floors are easier to maintain than carpets. Stains can obviously be cleaned up easier and dust can be swept up with the occasional dog hair. The people at the showroom advised me to keep my dogs nails trimmed to prevent scratches on my new flooring. I even got to take a sample home with me and after days of pondering I decided to get a wooden floor in my bedroom.

Many of my friends already have wooden flooring, but there are so many types. From traditional wood like Beech and Oak all the way to artificially distressed and bamboo, all of which look good and can add a twist to any kind of room. Whilst browsing I also had a sneak peak at the tiling and laminate flooring and I think I have already found the perfect floor for my kitchen!!

It has almost been two weeks now since a Flooring Coppell company installed wooden flooring and my room looks so much bigger. Not only does it look stylish but it also adds the final touch to my bedroom that I have worked so hard on for the past few weeks. It is easy to maintain and it is a lot cosier than I originally thought it would be, but to make it more so I added a vintage rug at the bottom of my bed. My dog liked it too, although seeing him walk on it for the first time was a bit like watching Bambi on ice.

My wooden floor has made my house look very classic and there are styles and colours to suit every taste. Whether you would like it to look vintage or contemporary, there is a type of wooden flooring for everyone.
