It can be overwhelming to look at the different kinds of chairs out there for restaurants, but they usually fall into the following categories. Ladder Back Chairs

The similar Lattice Back Chair contains vertical and horizontal slats crossing in irregular patterns, or even slats crossing in an “X” pattern.

X-Back Chairs
These chairs have a slat pattern that makes a single “X” on the back of the chair. These can look very stylish and are often seen in upscale bistros and cafes.

Options

Then there are options with upholstering or not, and the different types and colors of vinyl that these chairs are upholstered with.
