Bill and Hilary Clinton know how to vacation in style.

The former President and his Secretary of State wife are believed to have rented the ocean front East Hampton mansion owned by real-estate mogul Elie Hirschfeld which is on the market for a cool $25million.

An ‘informed source’ told the New York daily News that they were planning on staying there for the week of August 22 to 28 – a few days after Bill’s 65th birthday.

The 12,000-square-foot Lily Pond Lane estate, which was designed and built in 1920 by John Custis Lawrence, sits on 1.2 acres right next to one of the popular holiday resort’s public beaches.

The sprawling estate has eight bedrooms, four fireplaces, a library, a private beach walkway, a sun/game room and a heated pool.

Mr Hirschfeld, president of Hirschfeld properties, put the property on the market in 2009 but has yet to get the asking price of $25million.

The Clintons also allegedly had to agree to pose for a photo with the real estate tycoon before he agreed to let them stay.
