How To Quit Smoking Through Laser Therapy
How many times have you heard that smoking is bad for your health? If you are a smoker this doesn’t really deter you from quitting because we all know that you have to really want to quit in order to kick the habit. Smoking is definitely a very tough addiction to quit and if you have tried already and been unsuccessful you know just how hard it can be. Smoking obviously is a very unhealthy habit that poses several health risks, not to mention it is very costly. Most people who truly want to quit have tried several methods, so it is these individuals who are open to alternative methods because quitting is important to them.
One method that has helped many quit smoking is laser therapy. Laser therapy involves acupuncture. Low frequency lasers are applied to the areas or pressure points of the body receiving acupuncture such as the face, hands, wrists, arms, etc. This process releases tension, increases circulation, and then produces endorphins which stimulate the nerves. It is believed that if enough endorphins are released in the body, the body is able to relax; the body gets rid of toxins, and reduces stress, curbing ...
... the body’s craving for nicotine. (Laser therapy also stimulates stored energy within the body.)
There are those that doubt that this kind of treatment works, and there are those that truly stand by it claiming positive results. Laser therapy is still under much debate despite the many people who claim that they have successfully quit smoking with this method of smoking cessation treatment. It is also suggested that the effectiveness of laser treatment to help those who wish to quit smoking is to a large degree based on how strong your desire is to quit smoking. Basically you have to really want to quit in order for any method to truly work. Based on clinical research, a lot of physicians have become believers in this method of alternative medicine and treatment.
So, how much does laser therapy cost you may ask? It all boils down to how much you smoke. Are you a pack a day smoker or do you smoke several packs a day? This method of treatment can take several treatments depending on how heavy of a smoker you are. You can look at spending $200 to $500 depending on how addicted you are and how much you smoke. You may be able to receive some medical coverage for the cost of laser therapy depending on your place of employment and where you currently reside.
So if you truly wish to quit smoking and have tried other methods such as the patch or other nicotine replacements and haven’t had much success, why not give laser treatment a try? This method has risen in popularity, been proven to be safe and natural, and many people swear by it. You may find that this method of treatment works for you and you can finally say that you are a non smoker!
