One day, the lion, known as the king of the forest, came to the front of the god: “I am very grateful to you for giving me such a magnificent and mighty physique as well as tremendous strength, so I have the ability to rule this forest.”

Hearing this, God smiled and asked: “This is not the purpose you came to me today, right? it looks like you seem to be troubled by something!” Lion growled softly, saying: “God, you really know me! I come here today really because I have something to request. No matter how good my ability is, when the cock crows every day, I was always scared to wake up by the crowing sound. God, I pray you! Please give me another power that I will no longer be scared to wake up by the crowing sound!” God smiled and said: “Go to find the elephant and it will give you a satisfactory answer.”

The lion excitedly went to the lake looking for the elephant. Before seeing the elephant, it heard the sound of banging when the elephant stomping. The lion speeded up to run to the elephant, but seeing an elephant being angrily stamping constantly. The lion asked: “Why do you get so angry?” ...
... Desperately shaking its big ears, the elephant growled: “There is only a nasty little mosquito always wanting to get into my ears, which makes me almost itchy to death.”

The lion left the elephant and was secretly thinking: “Since such a giant elephant will be afraid of so little mosquitoes, then what can I complain about? After all, the cock crows only once a day, while the mosquito is harassing the elephants all the time. Thinking in this way, I’m more fortunate than it.” The lion looked back constantly while walking and the elephant was still stomping. It was thinking: “God asked me to see the elephant. He should be telling me that anyone will encounter trouble, but he cannot help everyone. In that case, then I have to rely on myself! Anyway, I cannot stop cock crowing, then when the cock crows, I can remind myself that it’s time to get up. If thinking in this way, crowing sound is pretty good for me!”

On the way of life, God is fair, just like he treated the lion and the elephant. Each troubled for us has its positive value of existence.
