Other common lies are: “there is no recession period since the headquarter office is located in San Diego is a USA contract and the Laws of Mexico does not apply to this”. This is a lie because the contract is being sign in Mexico; the contract must be subject of the Mexican Laws.

They can also make you sign a waiver to rescind your right to cancel, however this is a common fraud; Mexican law establishes you cannot rescind your right to cancel your timeshare contract within your first 5 days from the moment of signing the contract.
