Why Should People Eat Breakfast?

People always skip breakfast for these reasons: Parents are busy with work and children are busy with study, so they have no more time to have breakfast; If people ate too much last night, they would feel not hungry when they wake up in the morning; The almost same breakfast for every day make people tired of having breakfast. People sip breakfast for these reasons, but they ignore that breakfast is the most important meal of a day.

Eating breakfast is very important for the brain and the body first thing in the morning! Most people who skip breakfast or who eat an unhealthy one use either lack of time in the morning as their excuse. And then they feel tired, restless or irritable in the morning.

Why does this phenomenon happen?

It is because when we wake up in the morning, our body and brain have been without food for around 10 - 12 hours and for children it may be longer. After many hours without food, it is essential to refuel in order to provide the necessary nutrients and energy to get us through the first part of the day.

So if you don’t have breakfast, your body will find more calories to burn and make you body takes more pressure. Without having some fuel in your system, you simply will not have the same concentration levels that you otherwise would and your work performance is going to suffer.

Without breakfast does not mean losing weight. Some people think that if they skip breakfast, they will reduce their calorie intake for the day and it will help them lose weight. Actually, missing breakfast often leads to overeating at some point later on in the day, usually snacking on unhealthy foods, which are high in calories and fat.
