How Do You Think About Night Shift?

Recently, a friend of mine told me she had an interview of a hotel position and that job is fit for her. But one question made her hesitate-if she wanted to get this position, she had to do night shifts. She asked me whether she should accept this position. Now many positions make staff rotate shifts, they may at risk of insomnia and sleep disorder.
Firefighters, guest Service Officer, police officers, doctors, nurses, paramedics, factory workers, and office cleaning staff all must have night shifts. Although not everyone who works odd hours has shift work sleep disorder, a lot can be at stake.
When you are awake at night and asleep during the day, your body does not receive powerful biological cues from the amount of light in the environment. This causes difficulty in falling asleep and getting enough deep sleep. According to studies, experts find people who with shift work disorder have higher rates of absenteeism and accidents related to sleepiness than night workers without the disorder.
Working night shifts for a long time will cause many health problems.
It becomes quite impossible to have ...
... a sound sleep during the daytime. Maybe your aged grandparents told you that you cannot get a better sleep during the day because you have to deal with noisy neighbors, children, traffic and so on, which are the biggest disturbing factors. So it is not strange when you wake up from a long time day sleep you still feel sleepy and weary.
A clinical assistant professor tells us that memory and ability to focus can become impaired, and shift workers who are sleep-deprived often get irritable or depressed. People suffer these questions and cannot concentrate on their job when they doing their work.
When you are awake during the night and asleep during the day, your body does not receive the proper, positive biological cues because of the amount of light that is present in the environment during the daytime. And these signs are very important to regulate the circadian rhythms that control the sleep cycle of the body and brain.
People who work night or rotating shifts seem to have a higher risk of ulcers, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, and heart disease. People who work during the night and sleep during the day are more susceptible to heart diseases and even heart attacks due to their work pattern.
If you are facing these problems heavily, you should think about the property of your work. The health and money, which one would you choose?
