Nowadays, most young people like spend much time on computer and job. They have to stay up late to finish their work. Sometimes they feel tired and hungry, so at that time, eat after 9 o’clock has become their habits. Recently, my sister told me she contribute her time to job and almost have no more time to take dinner, but she still becomes fatter.

Actually, if you sleep late and eat something before you go to bed, you may gain weight.

If you stay up late and have your supper after 8 o’clock p.m. It may give you more fat. A recent study found that late sleepers consumed more than 248 calories a day, mainly at dinner and later in the evening. If you eat half as many fruits and vegetables, twice the fast food and drink more full-calorie sodas than those with earlier sleep times. Everyone knows how much calories contained in fast food and junk beverage.

When you finish supper after 8 o’clock, your body has no more time to burn calories. People who have supper or final meal before 8 o’clock always do many things before go to bed, even though they stand up from a chair or walk. However, late sleepers ...
... went to sleep at an average time of 3:45 am and woke up by 10:45 am, ate breakfast at noon, lunch at 2:30 pm, dinner at 8:15 pm and a final meal at 10:00 pm. It means they have no more time to burn calories between they finish last meal and sleep.

A health psychologist and a neurology instructor told us “The extra daily calories can mean a significant amount of weight gain - two pounds per month - if they are not balanced by more physical activity.”

Except for these reasons, you’d better regulate your time for meal and sleep. Today if you get up at 7:30, have breakfast at 8 o’clock, eat lunch at 12 o’clock, supper at 6:30 and sleep at 10 o’clock, you should stick to this daily routine. It means in addition to the number of calories consumed each day, the timing was important.

So don’t complain why you regain fat during the time you are losing weight. Those who ate after 8:00 pm were more likely to have a higher BMI, even after controlling for sleep timing and duration.

If you want to lose your weight effective, you’d better fall asleep earlier and don’t eat too late.
