Kashmir Tourism a travel destination that has long remained on top of the travel chart as its scenic beauty makes it the paradise on earth. It remains the most visited tourist destination of India & millions of tourist Kashmir every year. Kashmir Tourism is round the year at it peak , because every different season has it own charm. The spring brings a bloom of scented flowers making the air smell so nice and flowers make it look so colorful. The summers are more green and cool a big respite from the heat of other parts of India. Autumn gives it a golden look with the changing colors of leaves from green to firey brown. Winter scatters the beautiful white snow blanket across Kashmir making some places very ideal for ski.
Jammu and Kashmir Tourism is always number one when it comes to travel in India by any tourist. It is a confluence of different religions that have come under one roof. The region of Kashmir is divided into three parts Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh. Jammu is mostly the plain side with few nice places like Patnitop & Baderwah which are always busy with tourist. Kashmir is surrounded by mountains & water that gives it the name Kashmir. Ladakh is the cold desert with the most beautiful breath taking scenes. Ladakh is more famous for its high passes and its buddist monestries, that remain a centre of attraction. An old saying “ The land is so barren and the passes so high that only a dear friend or a fierce enemy will reach here. It is the only place where you can have a sunstroke and a frost bite at same time. It is also called little Tibet as it is highly influenced by the tibetian culture. Kashmir shares its borders with Pakistan and China.
Kashmir tourism is also about the handicrafts produced here. The most famous of the handicrafts are the shawls, Kashmir carpets, woodcarving, paper machie , crewel embroidery, etc. The handicrafts produced in Kashmir are world famous. The most famous among them are the Carpets and shawls. These handicrafts are exported around the world and are in great demand every where because of their good quality. Tourist also like to buy saffron , apples and walnuts from here. The best quality saffron grows only in Kashmir. It is the most expensive spice used in food, sweets, etc.
Kashmir Tourism is renouned for its famous Houseboats which are located on Dallake, Nagin Lake, and River Jehlum. The Wooden Luxury Hotels float on the waters and are considered the most luxury accommodation for Jammu and Kashmir Tourism.
