Moving from one place to another is a tiring process that involves packing all your belongings. Proper packing of items is utmost necessary when you relocate from one place to another. Proper packing of goods ensures for safe & damage free relocation & transportation of goods to your next destination door step. Some people may decide to do it all by themselves while others would rely upon professional movers and packers for moving and packing solutions. Using professional and experienced movers packers handle packing moving your belongings for you when you have to get ready to move is no doubt the quickest and easiest way to make your move stress free. But then if you are planning to do it yourself, keep in mind certain things before you kick start the relocation process.

Not everything in your home needs to be packed up in cartons to move. There are some things that packers movers won’t move for you because rules and regulations forbid it. There are some things you should not try moving yourself, and some things you should not take with you at all for safety reasons. A part from this, you’ll come across many ...
... things that you shouldn’t toss, but that you definitely shouldn’t pack away with the rest of your stuff. These are the things you should keep with you — pack them last, load them last and unpack them first. A good rule of thumb is this: set aside stuff you’ll need immediately, and stuff that’s too valuable to be lost. You should keep those items with you — they don’t go in the moving van, but stay with you in the car.

To ensure that you’re moving is efficiently carried out and the job is safely done while moving from one place to another place, here are a few guidelines to help you:

• Important papers, important things and information you need on hand should be carried with you. These may include your Address Books, Airline Tickets, Cameras, Car Keys, Cheque Books, Files, Financial Records, Medical Records etc

• Sentimental items like Photo abums, jewellery etc. may not have much of a monetary value, but they could be very difficult to replace or be irreplaceable should not be moved by movers packers.

• Do not pack Hazardous Materials. It’s very possible that you have hazardous chemicals that you really should get rid of rather than try to move. Examples include gasoline, poisons, paint, oil and other liquids that you certainly wouldn’t want spilling during transport and coating your belongings in something stinky and dangerous. Even if these items are not forbidden by your moving company, packing hazardous chemicals safely in a box can provide a big challenge. Rather than relocating them, try to give them to a family member or friend who’s staying behind.

• Plants, food and animals are perishable items; they easily spoil, die or suffer damages if not specially cared for along the way. Many movers packers in your city will refuse to accept any kind of perishable items, but may make an exception if it’s a short distance move. Don’t forget to empty your refrigerators and freezers of food at least 24 hours before loading.

• Finally, clean out your closets before you move. Give up certain items you may not consider worth moving. These may include clothes that don’t fit, or clothes you won’t need if you are moving into a new job or climate, Furniture that won’t fit in your new apartment, Anything cluttering up that you don’t use and doesn’t have sentimental value, books you won’t read again and don’t really want around etc.

So, follow these useful tips and you’ll surely end up packing only the useful things.
