After its launch a few months ago, the Samsung Galaxy S2 has become the most important smartphone in the mobile phone industry. Even though the HTC Sensation offers only 1 GB of internal memory, it makes up for it by providing external memory card support. It also comes included with an 8 GB memory card unlike the Samsung phone that does not.

However, the advantage of having no significant amount of memory internally means that the initial cost of the phone will be much less than the Samsung Galaxy S2. It is one of the main reasons for many people to consider the 16 GB variant of the Galaxy S2 to be the value for money product. The Galaxy S2 and the HTC Sensation are more or less similar in terms of the connectivity features. They also very similar in the processor and the operating system present in the phone. They offer the same 1.2 GHz dual core processor and the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
