Htc Eternity And Htc Sensation - With New Features Make The Competition Even More Exciting

HTC recently unveiled the HTC Sensation , which is the phone set to become the successor for the HTC Desire HD at the top of the HTC line-up. Due to the fact that this phone will be replacing the HTC Desire HD, it puts an enormous amount of stress on the phone to deliver the results. However, it seems to be coping up with the expectations pretty well given the fact that it will be offering plenty of features capable of challenging in the Samsung Galaxy S2. However, the HTC Sensation is not going to be the only phone at the top of the HTC line-up, as it will soon be joined by the HTC Eternity.
If you thought that having two flagship models at the same time will be detrimental to the company, think again because the two phones are very dissimilar. The HTC Sensation is a phone that runs on the Android operating system, while the HTC Eternity with having the latest version of the Windows Phone operating system. Apart from this major difference, there are plenty of differences within the features of both phones in order to give them a uniqueness. ...
... The HTC Sensation, for example, will come with a 4.3 inch touch screen display that is not at all surprising in terms of size. It is the exact display that was seen in the HTC Desire HD, but to the resolution has been increased to 960 x 540 pixels. This makes the screen much more appealing to look at and it was probably the one feature that it was missing big time.
The HTC Eternity shows that it is very different from the HTC Sensation by the design itself. It is visibly much more larger than the HTC Sensation and it is not take long to realise the reason for the increase in the dimensions. The HTC Sensation comes with a 4.7 inch display. This display may use only 480 x 800 pixels resolution, but it makes up for the lack of high resolution by providing one of the largest displays ever seen in a mobile phone. This makes all the difference with regard to the entertainment capabilities of the phone. Further, the HTC Eternity comes with the option to have up to 16 GB worth of content, which is not present by default in the HTC Sensation. Instead, it offers the expandable memory option, which can take up to 32 GB. This option is not available on HTC Eternity. So, in terms of memory, both phones are very evenly matched.
They are also evenly matched in terms of the resolution offered by the camera. Both phones use the same eight megapixel unit, although the camera in the HTC Sensation comes with the full HD video recording option. The HTC Sensation will soon receive the update to the Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread operating system, while the HTC Eternity will be launched only when the new Windows Phone 7.5 operating system is unveiled. It could be done later in September.
