Being a fully integrated plant, Ambica is well equipped with all stainless steel manufacturing facilities – starting from the Steel Melt Shop, Refining thru AOD, Billet Casting, Hot Rolling Mills and Cold Finishing of Bars, Angles & Flats. With a melt size of 22 Tons, these facilities facilitate production of about 80,000 tons per year.

The Bright Round Bars & Hexagons are a perfect solution for all machining applications. These bars are characterized by high dimensional accuracy and high-quality bright surfaces.

Ambica produces over 100 grades in Stainless Steels, a few to mention are AISI 303, 304L, 316L, 316Ti, 410, 416, 420, 430F, 431, 17-4PH, F-51 Duplex etc.

AMBICA also specializes into the production of 17-4PH (also known as 1.4542 and AISI 630) grade materials. This is a precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel with Cu and Nb/Cb additions. The grade combines a very high strength, hardness (up to 572°F / 300°C), and corrosion resistance.

These materials are primarily used in the Aircraft and Aerospace engineering, Mechanical engineering, Power generation, Measuring and Control techniques, Offshore (foils, helicopter deck, platforms, etc.), Nuclear waste casks etc.
