A lot of starting companies have no idea how to go about business printing; some don’t even realize its importance. It may be a sign that your company is destined for greatness considering that you are reading this article and realizing you really need to start meeting up with business printing companies. 1) Think about the business prints that you may need to start with. List down everything you need and see which categories they fall on so you can learn more about them and the best ways to design it.

Fonts to be used can be to whatever you choose it to be, however if you use special fonts you need to embed the font file together with the design file.

3) Pictures
Anything that you include in your design will be seen, the most identifiable part of your design however is the photographs that you will include in it. Make sure your pictures are unique and taken just for your company. Your picture must be able to explain what you are trying to relay without even having to put words beside it. To make the shots even more professionally done, make sure your picture resolution is at least 300dpi.

4) Colors
The colors you use enhances the design. Printers use CMYK to produce great printing results so to match the same colors make sure your design is using CMYK colors as well, not RGB.

5) Paper stock
To give your prints a more professional finish and additional protection from other elements, you may want to consider having gloss or matte coated on to your prints.

6) Layout
Create your design using Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel draw or other design programs but keep in mind that your art file must produce only either pdf, jpg, tiff or eps files.

7) Design Files Facts
The files that you will upload or hand over to your printer must be according to their specifications and instructions. Remember to always follow them to so that the printing process will push through as planned.
