Ferrari 360 Modena
Predecessor of the Ferrari F430, the 360 Modena had an aluminum chassis, body, engine, transmission and suspension. This was a strategic decision that engineers took during the car developing to allow a 34 percent reduction in vehicle weight to consequently achieve better performance and safety standards. Ferrari Formula 1 technical expertise played an important role in the 360 design elements, such as the drive-by-wire throttle, variable geometry intake system and the electro-hydraulic gearbox. The Ferrari 360 Modena’s “ground effect” configuration was also inspired by the Formula One. The underside of the car was in fact shaped to create a low pressure zone in the airflow in order to achieve improved down force for excellent stability at high speeds without any needs for an aerodynamic wing or spoiler.

The Ferrari California and its predecessor Ferrari f430 have a unique design approach and technology innovations to achieve indisputable performance and driving experience. Inquiry about the Ferrari California and Certified Pre-Owned at Beverly Hills Ferrari.
