They can be classified into two broad categories:

The ones with storage are as comfortable as the ones without storage, only the storage option might hike the price a little.

Bed bases without storage: They are available in the following types:

Platform bases: These are flat-topped bases to provide a firmer feel to the base.

Sprung slats: Fixed wooden stats (usually made of beech) that sit within the frame provide support to the mattress.

Sprung edge base: This comes with a fully sprung top as well as edges. As there are no hard edges, these bases actually provide a very luxurious feel. These bases work along with the mattress to provide a good night’s sleep.

How To Buy The Right Base For Your Bed?
