The present busy life style has proven to cause a very risky situation as far as health is concerned. Obesity is the state of body in which excess of the fat gets accumulated thus causing adverse effect to the properties of body. This causes a decrease in the expectancy in life and increase in health disorders leading to the dangerous condition called morbid obesity.
Morbidity is the state of illness or disease in a body. The disease which are liable to occur are heart disease, breathing difficulty while sleeping, diabetes and even cancer. Obesity occurs mainly because of an unhealthy mix of high calorie rich food and absence of exercises or physical activities. Sometimes obesity is genetic or hereditary. In this case the treatment seems to be more difficult. But in general cases frequent work outs like cycling, walking and aerobics along with controlled food intake works effectively to avoid this condition. If the value of BMI stands between 25 and 35, the person is considered to have obesity. If the BMI value becomes greater than or nearly equal to 40 then the person is morbidly obese.
For the treatment, there are a lot of herbal remedies, which include several drugs but some may not work and some are not safe. Even though some drugs help in loosing up to 5 to 10 pounds but there is a chance of weight regain after the medication intake is over. Surgery is also another option to solve morbid obesity. In the concise view, adequate food with proper exercise keeps you free from inadequate body conditions.
