Pit bikes are great fun to use on and off the use, and are trendy while very useful at the same time. Pit bikes originated at motocross races where they were used for riding around the pits in the arena, hence the name. Since then, their popularity has grown, with the bikes no longer being used only in the arena, but by the public too.

These bikes can be used on the roads to get you to work or your friends houses, as well as dirt tracks, or bike parks. Pit bikes are often used for racing as they are small and fast, while many other people use them for simply getting to work on time, as they are fast and convenient, and very simple to find parking for.

There is a whole range of shapes and sizes you can get your pit bike in, with many manufacturers now offering the bikes in some shape or form. You can get your pit bike with different specifications depending on what you are going to use it for – for example those looking to do stunts with their pit bike will definitely want the best suspension possible.

Pit parks have been developed out of sites which were previously skate parks. These have now been adapted to pit bikes with different apparatus to support these larger bikes. Rides can use metal and concrete parks, meaning that BMX bikers and skaters can be safe in their own separate parks, while those looking to stunt ride on their Pit bikes can do so in peace.

Pit bikes are great value for money. They do not cost much to buy, and they are cheap to maintain and fuel. These bikes are affordable and have many purposes, not to mention being simple to operate.
