While mimeographed or risographed flyers are common because they are cheap, it is also nice to have colored flyers printed on good quality paper so that it stands out above the rest. If you use good quality paper, which is thicker than the ones used for risographed flyers, you can print on the back side without seeing the letters and image leach onto the front part. So you get to utilize the back side of the flyer without distorting the front. Additionally, you will get the people to be curious about your flyer. If you are willing to spend on good quality material for your flyers, they will think that you really have something interesting to say or offer to them.

One Color Back
Full color printing for the front and back of the flyer can be very expensive. But in order to save on printing cost and still achieve the same purpose for your flyer, compromise on your printing in terms of specs but not quality. While you have a full color front part, have a one-color print for the back, such as black ink. You can use this part for your explanation with some diagrams and a few photos that will still look good even with one color printing.

If you want additional information in your flyers that are just seasonal promotions, you may want to have these risographed and then stapled at the back of the colored flyer.
