Unlike what you may have heard, it is not that hard to use Microsoft Office 2007 to design and print brochures. If you are a business owner (small or big), Microsoft Office 2007 can enable you to save hundreds of dollars spent on brochure printing companies. What's more is that, with the right color printer and printing papers, you can still be able to obtain the same kind of quality as the ones produced by professional printers.



What you will need



For this project, you will require to have the following:

Desktop or laptop PC.
Color printer.
Microsoft Office 2007.
Letter size paper.

Of course the artwork will hinge on your creativity.



Instructions



Load Microsoft Office Publisher 2007 by following the steps given below:

Click on "start" button from the taskbar and point to "all programs".
Click on "Microsoft Office" from the pop-up ...
... menu.
Click on "Microsoft Office Publisher 2007" in the new pop-up menu.

In the Microsoft Publisher 2007 window that appears on your screen, click on "File" and click on "New". In the sidebar window that appears, click on "brochures". This will display for you a list of templates. Take time to go through each one so as to choose a template that best portrays what you want.



Once you have selected the template that you want, double click on it and save it to your hard drive. Thereafter, proceed to customize the template by inserting your own graphics and text. This can be done by double clicking on the images or text areas.



Once you have finished creating your template, click on "File" and select "print preview". This will enable you to look at how the brochure will look like when printed. Take time to analyze the final work so that you can make the necessary changes before printing.
