How To Get Old Gracefully
Getting old with a certain kind of elegance is something that humans have been trying to do for a long time. As far as keeping themselves elegant people will try and attain it through different products and innovative new injections.
In the past, Ancient Egyptians used cosmetics to give a piercing and classic look. With these holistic products, the Egyptians were able to help people get fuller hair, get rid of wrinkles and eradicate any form of permanent scarring on their body. An appearance could be altered in the persons favor if you took different baths in Roman times.
Now, the beauty industry is a multi billion-dollar-a-year industry. There's a lot of money that is put aside for things very similar to the holistic cosmetics used in ancient history. The only variation is that we can mass market these products because of advanced technology. Have we succeeded in finding the fountain of youth? Even considering technological as well as scientific advances, it seems we are lacking some vital information.
What are we not seeing? Are we not thinking about how our personal behavior could affect ...
... our beauty instead of just outward chemicals and colors? Our appearance is something that can be altered by doing something that starts with the way we think, which is something I have discovered through research.
I have a companion that I converse with on this topic regularly. She's taking a different approach to aging gracefully. She believes that if one works with one's ethics, it can ultimately affect how you age. She's a coach with a program called Executive Success Programs. It was started by scientist Keith Raniere, and an expert in human potential, Nancy Salzman. They think that there is a mind/body connection that affects aging - and it stems from your beliefs. What we believe in, through a moral not spiritual viewpoint is the influence for this kind of change. She's shown me visual examples of some of these members who have attained a youthful look even though they are older than they appear to be.
The mind and body connection is something that I can see working. If we can change how we get through positions or certain decisions in our life then we can ultimately learn from them just like we learn that childbirth bears more than just a child. What if our brains, and the way we process thought can help us transcend the aging process too? If it is even a small possibility, and it's risk-free and natural, I'm there.
Additional details can be found at Executive Success Programs or through Keith Raniere, Founder of NXIVM and Executive Success Programs.
