In the monastery’s library you can find out a wide collection of ancient manuscripts, books on Buddhist philosophy, and archival photographs on Tibet, prayer scrolls and sacred texts. Kunal Pathri, Masroor, Jwalamukhi Temple, Chamunda Devi are some of the well known temples found here. Tsuglagkhang is the main temple of the Buddhist.
Besides visiting some of the exquisite places in Dharamshala you can also spend a good time while shopping some of the famous handicraft items. Kotwali Bazaar is the popular shopping place. It is known for its Tibetan carpets, Motifs, Persian carpets; Tibetian textile, traditional hats, Chubas. Jogibara Road is also a well known shopping area. From here you can purchase silk scarves, Tibetan and Buddhist culture books, Tibetan products, prayer flags, etc.
