3.Under each stream, there are different visa categories, each of which has its own range of visa subclasses and their visa requirements and criteria.

5.There are detailed rules governing entry in each migration category and selection is based on a case-by-case assessment of applications. Applicants must meet all the visa requirements of the chosen appropriate visa applied for in order to be granted a visa

13.Each visa has different processing times and may vary depending on a range of factors.
14.Using the Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) system, you can check your visa details, including your visa grant number and visa conditions. You can use either your TRN or the password that you recorded at the end of your online visa application.
15.If your visa is granted, a Notification of Grant letter is sent to you via your nominated postal or email address. Please keep this letter as it contains:
your visa grant number
the validity date of your visa
the visa conditions
16.If your visa is not granted, the department sends you a notification letter advising you of:
the reasons for the refusal
your review rights
the time limit for lodging an appeal
